Promoting STEM education in your Homeschool

Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) are subjects that often cause homeschooling parents a lot of worry. They question their ability to educate their students in these subjects. Start with easy activities:

STEM learning can be fun for you too. For instance, when you teach your little ones about rocks, you will learn how to classify rocks! When you teach how to subtract or add larger numbers, you too will learn a few new tricks.

Most of the science fairs are uninteresting and boring. Instead, homeschool parents should look for different ways to demonstrate innovation and creativity in their fairs. For instance, you can collaborate with other homeschooling families, select a theme, and direct your child to meet certain goals. Leave the rockets and baking soda volcanoes and get creative with your projects!
